DESCRIPTION:

• A-line silhouette shirt-dress, cut above the knee with flat shirt collar, side pockets and matching belt.  Adorned by traditional hand-embroidered seams.

• Wear as a dress or over jeans.

MATERIALS & CRAFTSMANSHIP:

• 95% organic cotton  (5% naturally dyed) / 5% reg cotton (navy and khaki stripes).

• Light and textured organic-cotton fabric with a fine navy blue stripe.  A raised multi-coloured chain-stripe runs over the chest and sleeves.

• Handwoven on the pedal loom by apprentice weaver Ángelina Hernández, Kinal Antsetik, San Cristóbal, Chiapas. 

• Cut, sewn and embroidered by Colectivo de Innovación, San Cristóbal.

• 100% natural corozo buttons.

• Regular fit for US 10–12 (UK 14-16).  Oversized fit for US 4-6 (UK 8-10).

CONDITION GRADE: B/C.

CONDITION DESCRIPTION:  This piece is still in good condition and is still a VERY COOL piece!  You wouldn't necessarily know that it isn't as it should be.  The natural dyes (light mauve and mauve) have SLIGHTLY faded and altered their tone to be less purply and marginally more greyish, as is possible with natural dyes.  The colors are still very wearable and are unlikely to fade or alter any further.  The collar and internal seam finish is not quite to our perfect production standard.  With the right care, this piece should last a life-time.   Sample comes without internal labels.  See 2 last photos.
